Configuring the confidential information protection

 

The protection against fraud lets you prevent your confidential information from leaving your computer without your permission. When the program detects that confidential information is being transmitted, it asks you if you want to allow it or not.

 

lets you specify which information you want to protect. Follow these instructions:

  1. Click Status.

  2. In the Protection section, click Settings.

  3. Click  Identity protection.

  4. The option Detect transmission of confidential information is selected by default. Click the Settings button that appears next to it.

  5. Click on Add.

  6. Expand the list and select the type of information you want to protect: credit card numbers, passwords, etc.

  7. In the description field, enter the type of information you want to protect (for example, account number).

  8. In the Information to protect box, specify the information you want to protect (password, credit card number, etc.), and click OK.
